now this is what i like to see… if i’m gonna buy some fancy new Strong Product i wanna see it beat the weaker version of itself into total useless garbage…… its called innovation and i’ve never been so happy to be a capitalist…
Ok. I know it is silly to bring up but I keep seeing this gif come up so I wanna throw in 2 cents. The pan gif is misleading. You could take any 2 pans and do the same thing just about. In fact you could switch those 2 pans positions and get the same results. See what that guy is doing is hitting the pan he wants to bend on its relatively narrow edge. This increases the force distributed against the pan compared to the force being exerted on the pan that is doing the smashing. The smashing pan is hitting on its much broader flat surface as well as the shape in this position is less likely to bend. The pan being smashed because of its bowl shape is held so that the force exerted is directed towards the center where it is likely to bend in on itself.
It is also irrelevant to the pans cooking abilities and will not make your food taste any better. This is an example of someone trying to put the halo effect into advertising. Basically wanting you to attribute unrelated virtue to their product because it appears stronger then the other product. So if you mean it is capitalism to deceive customers into thinking your product is better then it is then yes this is capitalism in action.
I’m a nerd
Three months ago I finished those mlp rigs, and I tried to animate them. The result was bad…
I realized that my models were horrible. So I decided to redo everything from scratch.
This time I embraced the cartoony style of the show and everything is looking much better.
Here’s my first animation test with the new rig:
Much better and indeed more accurate than the overused ones in gmod! :D
Its a silly derpy animation. All hail Derpy.
